A VIBCO SVRWS-6500 High Frequency Pneumatic Vibrator was mounted onto the car hopper. At just 85 dB at one meter, it immediately eliminated the noise problem. The high-frequency vibration greatly improved material flow. The high-frequency rotation also allows the vibrator to self-tighten into the railcar vibrator pocket, so more vibratory force is transmitted to the railcar.

The vibrator was attached to the side of the hopper and 25 ft. lines were used to connect it to the hydraulic power supply. They have now increased the overall efficiency of their process.
